AOUT A PARIS Table 5

Creative world
Août à Paris is an innovative studio created by the inventive and prolific illustrator Muriel Douru. Fifteen years of working with multiple sectors, including fashion, paper goods and interior design, has yielded a bountiful, refined, and varied universe based on stories, decors, and research into graphic styles, all nourished by the latest trends in fashion, design and children’s publishing. The objective of Août à Paris is to offer attractive and exclusive illustrations that will create value for any support by raising its emotional and commercial potential.

Techniques
Août à Paris never imposes a style. Rather, it proposes its creative juices, inspired by the latest trends, to meet the demands of its clients. Tapping a dynamic of perpetual artistic research, and using varied and mixed techniques, the studio comes up with a range of drawings, all different. With a collection that is constantly renewed, and presented in a showroom or by private showing, the studio can work with any sector (fashion, decoration, bedding, paper goods, layette...) and/or by special order. The work is adapted to the format of the product and is designed using technology. It includes a technical specifications sheet if necessary. The professional design studio is used to managing rush and large orders, be it exclusive creations for fashion or publishing clients, or entire collections for layette or paper goods clients.

Clients
Août à Paris proposes its creations to any sector looking for varied and original illustrations, including fashion, design, interior decoration and paper goods.

AXELLE DESIGN Table 9

Creative world
« Maman, dessine-moi un mouton »... {“Mummy, please draw me a lamb …” } Inspired by walks through the park as well as the pretty little details found in day-to-day life, I like to create prints that are poetic and timeless. A dash of humor + a pinch of dreams = constant good spirits!

Techniques
A sketch that I make using either a vectorised Japanese marker or directly on my graphic tablet using a bush, which gives a fine and light line. Then, I carry out the coloring and subsequent stages using Illustrator.

Clients
Prints for the textile industry, mini-series of cards & stickers, design objects. A capsule collection, visual identity, exclusive prints ... Whatever your needs, let me take care of your brand’s new illustrations!

CABANE 13 Table 2

Creative world
Cabane 13 creates custom illustrations and graphic prints.
Cabane 13 is the fruit of a collaboration between illustrators Sibylle Ristroph and Mai-Lan Tran-Bernaud, and the universe we have developed mixes tender and poetic drawings with minimalist and contemporary prints.
At Playtime, we will be presenting our first collection, which we have baptized "Petites planètes".

Techniques
Each creation starts with a series of sketches.
The drawings are then reworked and digitized, then developed in several color ranges.
The final files can be read with Photoshop and/or Illustrator.

Clients
Cabane 13 works with professionals from the sectors of fashion, interior design, publishing and paper goods.
The object of every professional collaboration will be a custom creation, be it for the design of a single print or the creation of an entire collection.

Techniques
Hand or vectorial drawing.

Clients
I am just starting out.
As far as creating prints for textiles goes, I am participating in the launch of "la bobette" which will produce « made in France » underpants. The brand will debut in October 2015, and they will hire five creatives every season.
As far as graphic design work goes, I do work for two theater companies, (Maquis'arts et cie, and la Compagnie à l'affût), as well as Ateliers Joffrine (for whom I am currently developing the visual identity and graphics) and the photographer Jean Grammatico.

CLAIRE MEHA Table 11

Creative world
My creations are sensitive, graphic, poetic or tender, depending on my inspiration and my mood for the day, but always with an eye to new trends. The color scale is soft, but punctuated with flashy touches…

Techniques
First I draw my patterns by hand and then I finish them off with Photoshop and Illustrator to prepare them for the textile or paper printing.

Clients
As I am a textile designer and stylist in the men’s and women’s fashion sectors, and I work on a freelance basis, the idea of designing a collection of drawings for the children’s sector came to me naturally…. Ever since, I have done work for Sergent Major, Dpam and Les Enfantines, and I talk too much…

FLORINDA SANDRI Table 6

Creative world
My world is a mix between a contemporary spirit and a nostalgia touch, sophisticated drawings and others that are more spontaneous. LA FABRIKEN Table 1

Creative world
Colorful and fun patterns with minimalist shapes and an extra, subtle little touch, especially for little boys, who often get overlooked! A universe that is inspired by Scandinavia, a world and culture that has completely changed my life and, especially, my creative inspiration.

Techniques
I always start with a little doodle that is more or less finished, which helps me organize my ideas. Then, using Illustrator, my preferred software, I scan it or rework it on my graphic tablet. I like vectorial design for its clean, perfect and practical aspect, especially because I can zoom in and out at will!

Clients
Textiles, decoration, paper goods… La Fabriken prints can be found on all sorts of supports, for children as well as for grown-ups!

MESSINA MORGANE Table 10

Creative world
My creative universe is a colorful and dynamic graphic bubble. I create patterns and visuals according to upcoming trends but also my own mood. For the next edition of Playtime Paris, I will be presenting an exclusive collection full of spontaneity and sensitivity.

Techniques
As an introduction to my creations, I like to take the time to observe and research upcoming trends.
This phase allows me to gather shapes, colors and diverse print techniques.
Then I pick up my pencil or paintbrush, or I use a graphic tablet. My guilty pleasure is the moment of creating a connection to the print. I love to reflect on the positioning of shapes and how to make the viewer forget that they are looking at a pattern that is repeated several times.

Clients
Collaborations in the children’s sector: NafNaf, Dpam, Zadig&Voltaire, Marie Claire…
I have also worked for the sportswear, women’s ready-to-wear, and interior design sectors.
